Why Does a SEBO D4 Need Maintenance?
One of the reasons we love SEBO vacuums is that there isn't a tremendous amount of maintenance required. There are no messy dust bins to wash, complicated cyclones to clean, or foam filters that constantly need to be rinsed and dried.
Most routine SEBO D4 maintenance comes down to three things:
Filter Bags: The D4 uses large-capacity SEBO AeraPure filter bags that trap dirt, dust, pet hair, and debris while maintaining excellent airflow. Bags should be replaced when full rather than emptied or reused.
Pre-Motor & Exhaust Filters: Your D4's filtration system helps protect both the vacuum's motor and the air returning to your home. These filters are replaceable maintenance items and shouldn't be forgotten simply because they're hidden inside the machine.
ET-1 Brushroll: Unlike the bags and filters, the brushroll isn't something that needs to be replaced on a regular schedule. However, years of cleaning gradually wear down the bristles. A worn brushroll may still spin normally, but shorter bristles can't reach as effectively into carpet fibers to agitate and remove embedded dirt and pet hair.
That's why we didn't simply create one giant maintenance package for everyone. Instead, we created three options based on what your D4 actually needs.

Why Replace the ET-1 Brushroll?

Can I Use These Packages With Any SEBO D4?
These maintenance packages are designed around the SEBO Airbelt D4 Premium equipped with the ET-1 power head.
The included bags and D-Series filters are specifically selected for the SEBO D4, while the replacement brushroll included with our Complete and Pet Owner packages is designed for the SEBO ET-1 power head.
